Danish band Zididada was formed when singer Jimmy Colding one late cold March evening in 1997 bumped into blues guitarist Danny Linde at the music club Mojo in Copenhagen. Two years later the artists released their debut album ‘Welcome to Zididada’, which became a hit album in Denmark. More than 40.000 copies were torn down the shelves sending Jimmy and Danny on a major tour around the poetic country.
Both the album release and the tour was a major hit, and soon Zididada was established as the Danish hit duo. But not only the Danish music lovers took Zididada in. As far away as South Africa one of the single releases ‘Please Ya, Lisa’ went number one on the charts.
In 2000 the follow up album ‘Have A Zididada Day’ proved to be stack of hits and previous sales figures were repeated. Since the band was grown tremendously in popularity. Every summer Zididada plays more than 60 concerts and continuously Jimmy and Danny are releasing hit songs. The highly successful music makers have manifested themselves as a solid Danish Pop act.
August 29th 2005 Zididada released their fifth album, ‘Music Makers’, produced by Toby Chapman and Gary Wallis (UK). ‘Music Makers’ is a bouquet of well-written and hard-hitting songs spiced with an international string. The outstanding result makes you want to listen to the album over and over again. With the release of ‘Music Makers’ Zididada has perpetrated a grand hit album guarantied to become a classic.
